Paper and Vapor FX offers different brands and styles of the newest machine in special effects technology, the cold spark, also known as a Sparkular. We can now create dazzling pyrotechnic gerb and waterfall style effects without the mess of actual pyro.

Cold Spark Fountain:

The Cold Spark / Sparkular is advertised as the first INDOOR fountain display machine. It creates a look similar to a pyrotechnic gerb effect. The effect can shoot up to 60 second blasts in intervals, with adjustable heights up to 15 feet high, operated with the official controller, or by DMX. Cold Sparks are a safer alternative to traditional pyro with little to no smoke or smell. Always check with your local municipality for any rules and regulations to follow, and permits that may be required.

Cold Spark Waterfall:

The Cold Spark Waterfall creates a look similar to a pyrotechnic waterfall effect. The effect can shoot up to 60 second blasts in intervals, with adjustable heights down to 20 feet long, operated with the official controller, or by DMX. Cold Sparks are a safer alternative to traditional pyro with little to no smoke or smell. Important Information:

When using Cold Sparks, always check with your venue and local municipality to see if they have any special rules or regulations to follow, or if they require a permit and fire watch to be pulled for use. Cold Sparks are regulated by NFPA 1126 and recommend the use of Class D extinguishers if needed.
